Affectionately called Imola after the town where it is located in the Southeast of Bologna, a magical place and the perfect area for a wonderful race weekend. Held at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari named after the man we all know as the father of Ferrari.
COVID-19 had some silver linings, due to the chaos it caused with the orignal race calandar, causeing a significant number of races to be cancelled. The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was added to the revised calendar, amongst other returning or new Grand Prix, to make up for the lost races. A once of solution…or so they thought.
This once off in 2020, where Valtteri Bottas took pole and teammate Max Verstappen the checkered flag, returned in 2021, Lewis Hamilton taking pole and Max Verstappen the black n white in a heart stopping rain affected race, and returned again in 2022 this time earning Max Verstappen his second grand chelem, wining this race for the second straight year.
Now a year later 2023 and the “once off” is back again. Now it’s your turn to see in real life if Max can pull of a hat trick.
